My Journey into Healing
Growing up in Los Angeles and being raised by Buddhist parents created a space for an open mind and heart from the beginning. Alternative thinking and the Healing Arts have been a normal part of my upbringing.
Taking Kundalini Yoga as my P.E. course in High School and later obtaining my certification as a Kundalini Yoga teacher in 2007 at the world-renowned Golden Bridge Yoga Studio in Los Angeles sparked my interest in deepening my understanding of the Healing Arts. Deepening my studies, It became clear to me the importance of understanding and living harmoniously with the body, mind and spirit. I have studied with Non-Dual (Advaita) teachers such as Francis Lucille and Wayne Liquorman. My influences are from the works of Mariann Williamson, Byron Katie, Tony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, Abraham-Hicks and Eckhart Tolle to name a few. And have studied from acclaimed coaching schools like Coaching Training Institute and The School of Coaching Mastery.
Why did I become a healing practitioner? For a long time, I believed it was to serve others in supporting their highest existence. In essence this was true, however, after enrolling into the Lionheart Institute of Transpersonal Energy Healing in 2008 and obtaining my Healing Practitioner Certification I soon realized I was on a path of my own self-discovery and healing. It has been learning to face and accept my own shadows that has truly made it possible for me to assist others in their own healing process.
I’m no stranger to pain, suffering, depression, fear, and anxiety. I spent most of my life struggling with addictions, and my own journey of healing and transformation has been anything but smooth. But I can tell you, I know from my own experience that there is a greater opportunity in life. An opportunity to find a true, authentic, grounded state of peace and happiness that isn’t dependent on success or failure, or how many possessions we can acquire.
Having gone through my own personal journey of healing and transformation, I find nothing more rewarding than to see people transform in front of my eyes, to watch years of conditioning, trauma, and pain melt away.
I’ve found that we all do truly have a unique gift, a talent that serves and uplifts those around us. My own gift lies in an ability to be present and listen in a way that allows the true being underneath all the stories to show itself.
I’m human just like you. The greatest aspect of my own healing has been understanding and acceptance. The most amazing gift to have reached a point in my own journey that I know from the bottom of my own personal healing and transformation has brought me to a place of a deep respect and appreciation for the value of life, common sense wisdom of western integrative psychology with the intuitive wisdom of eastern philosophy. This is deep, authentic, grounded work.
My work and passion in life is to be of service and to listen deeply to the needs of my clients.
